It took me over 3 yrs to say thank you. And a lot of therapy. Getting help during the lockdown was especially hard, but willow still helped. I honestly think I wouldn't have survived without willow.
I hope they can help others the way I think people should be treated. It's so much worse than expected to lose a part of self. I love the idea that people helping people is the way you can help.
I worked here from 2016-2022. In that time I saw several folks, men, women, and trans/non-binary survivors, whose lives were changed for the better. Unfortunately, it's the kind of work that doesn't talk itself up enough, and so many of the reviews here are negative. I will say the place is not perfect, but the people who work there do genuinely care about survivors and trying to make things better for them, and they are limited by what space and circumstances allow.
