The William is understaffed in the main building. There is gun violence, car thefts, and strangers on the property at night. Be careful going to this location!

I will be filing with the EEOC. I was harrased for my beliefs by the Executive Director. I reported it to the corporate person in charge. They did nothing. He makes people very uncomfortable with his remarks about age, smoking pot, gender roles and plain nasty language. I will be taking this to the investor group in New York. They will just sweep this under the rug like everything else. They also let elderly folks stay in a memory care cottage that is literally falling apart. Our experience with the William was horrible.They had my mom in a room with no AC for 5 days. And this is when the temperature was over 100 degrees outside. Her door automatically closes behind her, so it was even hotter inside. Simply disgusting. I had to get the State involved because no one should ever be treated like this. Don't put your family members here. my mom wasn't moved until I brought it up to them. I have lots and lots of videos showing that multiple RA's went into my room and did NOTHING. Disgusting. Our experience with my grandma living within Cottage C has been less than ideal. We've attempted to voice concerns to the Director, but he's always occupied himself rather carelessly in other ways while attempting to speak with him such as by coloring his desk or repeatedly opening and closing his desk drawer. There's the issue of food quality and portions going down. Staff often report that they feel understaffed when only one member is managing the entire building.
