Carmen was pleasant over the phone and when I had concerns about adding sleeves to my dress she simply stated "Anything can be done". I also discussed before I arrived that I did not have an underskirt for my dress yet and she kindly offered to lend me hers which I appreciated. There was a miscommunication about the lacing at the back of my dress and when I arrived she very quickly became rude and aggressive. Carmen, I couldn’t be happier with my wedding dress alterations! From start to finish, the service was absolutely amazing. Every detail was handled with such care, skill, and professionalism. The fit turned out perfect — it felt like the dress had been made just for me. The dressmaker listened to everything I wanted and made thoughtful suggestions that made it even better. I walked away feeling confident and beautiful on my special day. I can’t recommend them highly enough!
Carmen is absolutely phenomenal! I even performed a special dance in my gown, and my bustle stayed perfectly in place. I felt completely secure in my dress—no wardrobe malfunctions, no worries at all! She made sure everything fit flawlessly, and I couldn’t be happier with her work. Carmen did an amazing job at altering my dress. There was nearly a 4-year gap between when my dress was bought and when my wedding finally went ahead. In this time I somehow outgrew the dress even though it was loose on me, my shape had changed so the dress needed a little adjusting. Carmen adjusted the bust area (mainly the cups) and added tulle shoulders to really define my shape and to showcase how elegant the dress is. Poor communication skills, and lacks customer service and professionalism. DO NOT RECOMMEND! Took my wedding dress here for dry cleaning on the 8th June, and now nearly 6 MONTHS LATER was ready to be picked up on the 3rd Dec. that should say enough for why this review is being done. Carmen originally quoted me an 8 week turnaround for dry cleaning and said she’d call once it’s done. that time passed and hadn’t heard from her, so decided to give her another 2 weeks before messaging just in case because I understand being a sm... read more
