I love this place! The upcycled furniture is beautiful and loads of handmade gifts. Also, plenty of great items to get creative with and give new life to old furniture. I am thankful for the fact they carry items from local creatives.
I’m a previous vendor of The Weathered Home. The overall shop is beautiful and very sweet employees. My issue was how my merchandise was treated. My products were never advertised and was rarely purchased due to the owner agreeing to take in more vendors of the same products I sold. Very disappointed in how my products were never posted or advertised. I hope that everyone that continues to bring merchandise there receives better and more fair treatment. They always have the coolest.. cutest things. The ladies that run the store are always so nice and helpful! I wish I had more room in my house and more money to get everything!!! They &ave especially cute and special gifts/ ornaments at Christmas!! Just go... thank me later!
The Weathered Home is a terrific store. Lots of unique items of years past and current products. The Weathered Home has a very welcoming feel. If you haven't visited you a missing a real treat.
Oh, if you haven't been to see Julie at the Weathered Home, you simply must go. Everyone there is fun and friendly, Deb is decorating, Julie is often painting or at the register. Whether you want to do it yourself and take some classes, hire one of them to do it, pick up a gift, or buy some paint, the Weathered Home is conveniently located in Morganton and they'll help you all they can.
