Management allowed access by their employees to my mom's apartment and property worth over $5,000 was taken without permission. My mother had to be moved to another facility due to her health. Monthly rent of about $10,000 was paid through October 31, 2025. Some valuable items that were not taken by the moving truck were left behind in her locked and paid for apartment (through October 31, 2025) with the intent to return and pick them up before the end of the lease. My wife was Grand Living's first memory care patient. She made the transition from assisted living at home to this beautiful facility with 24-hour care and security very easily. The caregivers became part of our extended family. As her dementia deepened, she could still make contact with her eyes, smile, and engage indirectly with activities. My husband and I have recently become a member of the Grand Living community. It is a wonderful place and the residents have been welcoming and lovely. They are a stimulating active group who I enjoy spending time with.The staff is all professional and helpful. Elba and Karina helped us move and continue to be top notch.
