We had to emergency move our parents to Albuquerque and we are SO thankful we found Watermark. We looked at several assisted living facilities and Watermark totally stood out. It is light and clean and has an extremely friendly staff! Mom and Dad have been there for a few months now and we are still so grateful. They get the extra care they need. Memory care seems to have gone downhill recently. I went to visit my grandmother on a Sunday afternoon. When I arrived it was obvious that it had been hours since staff went in to check on her or assist her with peri care. No one informed her that dinner was being served, and if I wasn’t there I don’t think that she would have eaten. It really upsets me that this occurred and honestly I do not feel like my grandmother is being taken care of properly. Anytime I go to visit staff are just sitting around. The Watermark is a fabulous community with amazing staff and filled with fun activities! My Mom has had the best experience there and is extremely happy! I'd highly recommend!!
My father has lived in the care of this facility for over 2 years now, and for less than a year in the Assisted living side. I will focus this review on Memory Care. I have had many very positive encounters with most of the staff and management. I am always contacted for any problems or significant changes and they work well the hospice provider as well.
