My father and brother moved into the Waterford in July 2023. They came from a previous facility they were not happy with. We came to the open house and immediately upon entering it felt like a home. An older building but very well maintained and clean. My brother and dad were able to get suites side by side. The food was excellent and the Sunday brunch was fabulous. My dad started to have wandering issues in 2025 so the nurse suggested we get Alberta health services in twice a day for his medications to get him in the system... read more

The Waterford of Summerlea is a wonderful seniors community that truly stands out. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and clearly care about both residents and visitors. One of the highlights is the food — it’s consistently delicious, with plenty of variety and quality. The brunch, in particular, is outstanding and easily rivals many local restaurants. It was three years ago that my mom, Jean, moved into The Waterford. She was originally in a two bedroom suite with my Dad but has since moved on her own into a one bedroom suite, both suites are beautiful, quiet, clean and spacious. We had looked at many different independent senior living options and settled on The Waterford. I am so glad we did ! I feel completely confident in Mom's safety on her own here.
