I do not recommend this assisted living facility. As someone who has worked here, I witnessed serious issues that families should know about before placing their loved ones: • COVID safety concerns: Management often downplayed or hid the number of positive cases. Staff were even asked to work while still testing positive if they “felt okay,” which put residents at risk. • Food quality: Meals are poorly prepared, and I have seen produce not properly washed. We are so thankful for the incredible staff at the Villas of Manalapan. The compassion, patience, and professionalism they show every single day is remarkable. My loved one is not only well cared for physically, but also encouraged to stay socially and emotionally engaged. The staff know the residents personally — their likes, routines, and personalities — and it makes all the difference. I cannot say enough positive things about the Villas. The staff is wonderful and very caring and the building and grounds are beautiful. I would highly recommend the Villas to anyone whose loved one needs assisted living.
