The food is not very good. And I would expect it to be better since it costs so much to live there a month more than most people earn in a year of work. And I think that the residents in the independent building should have their trash pickup up at the door daily like hotels do. These are residents in their late 80s to 90s . We love this place. The staff could not have been kinder to my dad when he was failing and they continue to be amazing to my mother. They create a fun and stimulating environment for the residents. When I walk in the door, I am always impressed that there is so much attention to detail in all their decorations no matter what season it is. Right now, the holiday decorations are incredible and uplifting. My mom's friends are all happy and they enjoy their activities together.
