I am a student at Newcastle college and I’ve done 75 hours of work experience. All I have to say is wow. It was a wonderful environment to be in lovely staff and lovely residents absolutely would recommend your elderly loved one to be in this care home. Excellent care from the staff

It was my mothers funeral yesterday, she was 91 years old when she died at the Village Care Home surrounded by her family. My mother lived at the care home for almost two years before her death and during that period I can say that she received remarkable care from wonderful caring staff. The care she received in her final days was extraordinary and I witnessed staff going beyond the call of duty to provide my Mam with the care and dignity she deserved in her final days. Wouldn't bother just use a different care home if you want your loved ones to actually be cared for
