Contacted RSPCA for a stray cat that has an infection they gave me a reference number saying to call this clinic on chester road, and that the reference will cover all cost. I explained to the girl on the phone that the cat has blocked nose, constantly sneezing, difficult breathing, black secretion from the eyes, and she said that they cant help, i have to pay but they are very busy and so on and so on... My partners dog was choking as she had a bone lodged in her throat, we rushed her down to her registered vet as fast as we could as she couldn’t breathe, upon arrival we were told there weren’t any vets on site and we’d have to go elsewhere! How they could turn away an animal who couldn’t breathe is beyond me. Why have you not got any vets on site during opening hours? We were terrified we’d lose her. Absolutely awful. Always a good experience there. The staff know my cats and I know they're loved and looked after. However, the prices are rather steep, especially when compared to other vets in the area.
