Disappointed to see several items on their floor today were sold at the local goodwill in the past 2 weeks at 4x the price. From their marketing I was under the impression their items were consigned which provides more legitimacy and understanding of wear.
Friendly knowledgeable staff. Large selection of quality merchandise. Reasonable pricing. Delivered furniture to me on time.
The staff definitely tries to give the impression of a high-class place. But my experience with customer service was only OK. I called the store this past Monday and bought a large rug over the phone. After completing the sale, the associate simply said "OK, it'll be here for you." I said I'd come in later in the week and asked if there would be someone there to help me load the rug. "Yes, there should be." Ok, great. I’ve spent thousands of dollars with this store over the years, yet when they came to pick up a set of chairs sending their van from just five minutes away they charged me $70 and then refused to take the items. I don’t mind that they decided not to accept the items, but charging $70 for a three-mile van trip with no pickup feels excessive and unreasonable.
