First time taking my bikes in for a tune up. Very happy with the service. The shop is clean and the service was efficient. I had asked around for others opinions of the velo house, and they all said it is worth going. If you are looking for a great local bike shop I would check them out.

OFF THE CHARTS DETAILED WORK... Small shop with MASSIVEly overqualified help. Freak detail even on the inexpensive stuff (but VERY ready to get you on a full cu$$$tom rig - a NAHBS AWARD WINNER). Imagine if an F1 team mechanic ran a small car customizing shop in your town (and charged the regular going price for things)...

This is my idea of a "DREAM BIKE SHOP". I've been riding nearly 20 years and have more bikes than I deserve. I recently purchased a bike that needed serious help. Michael, the owner, provided that and MORE! He made a dream bike out of something that was really in bad shape! PLUS his prices are reasonable. I live 2 hours away. I've gone there 2 ti... read more

Michael has expertise that goes beyond what you'll find in most local bike shops. He's worked for many of the manufacturers, and he brings that knowledge to help his clients make the best decisions for their riding. He changed out my fork, my large chain ring, and recommended a Deda wheelset for road riding. These changes to my bike brought a significant weight reduction and performance improvement. I would go to him for any of my bike needs,

Place is nice but is extremely expensive, owner was not friendly at all and seemed like he didn't want to speak to me and it felt like he wanted me to leave. I go up to him and tell him my bike seat is slipping and he claimed the whole seat was broken and needed to be entirely replaced by him. Turns out it was literally just a loose bolt that I tightened and it fixed the issue entirely. Unfriendly, overpriced service and shady at best diagnostics of your bike. Edit, went back and they same man who was unfriendly before was... read more
