We went for a tour at The Valley, and after reading the previous posts, I felt I needed to write my very first ever review of anything... I loved this place! It did not smell, the staff were very friendly, and the rehab rooms were beautiful! They said they just finished a remodel and they are under new management. We moved my grandmother in two weeks ago and we have not had any problems at all. I have another friend who has her mom here and she highly recommends it too. went for a tour place veru unsanitary smells of urine and while I was their a client came to see their parent came to the nursing station and said , ok who my moms nurse she is soiled and needs changing and said looks like its been on her for a while and the the shower chairs where just nasty, would not recommend my loved one going there.

I would NOT recommend this facility to anyone if you really care about your loved one. The staff is very rude and unprofessional, the facility smells horrible, and if your loved one needs any assistance, believe me you would have to do it yourself, and maybe help the other residents there also. I have never done a review before in my life, but I am so disappointed in this facility. I actually had to have my father removed from Elder Care of the Valley.
