my dad was put here in the hospital CAPS program while awaiting a permanent home and somehow within the first week, they let him fall 3 times and then another time the next since he was trying to go to the toilet and obviously no one came to help. thank god he is getting transferred to his permanent home today, seeing as they take no effort to prevent falls from an obvious fall risk. update: they made us write his name on his belongings (for some reason they made us do it in on his black clothing with a permanent marker and ... read more
I cared for my wife at home for almost 10 years where she maintained good health and well being during this time. It became urgent that I seek respite for a few days, and 3 weeks ago my wife went into The Vales to be cared for, fora short duration. Unfortunately, my wife never came home again. My wife was taken to FMC from Vales in a rapidly deteriorating condition, having contracted covid in The Vales and suffering from what can only be described as gross neglect.
