My wonderful mother lived in Urmston Manor for a year in 2022/23 until she passed away. I cannot recommend UM more if I tried. It might not have a flash exterior/interior as some homes but what it does have is heart! Martyn and his team are amazing and could not do more for its residents. Having been round a lot of homes before mum moved in it was clear that every aspect of caring for our loved ones is paramount. Our mother has been a resident in Urmston Manor for over 2 years and as a family we are delighted with the level of care, the staff are all amazing, they have freshly cooked meals, regular entertainment and activities and it has an outstanding CQC Report! Most of all my mother is so happy there, it’s like one big family and they keep us informed constantly should there be any concerns. I would recommend Martyn , Lorraine and the Team to anyone looking for a residential care home for their loved ones.

My mum has been a resident at Urmston Manor since December 2018 but for a number of months previously she received day-care here under a special arrangement, set up by Martyn the manager. This proved to be a well-thought out arrangement which suited my mum’s individual needs and she really benefited socially, making some new friends and joining in daily activities even before she was able to move there permanently.
