Good coal
My father, Jay Thackeray, raised my brothers and I as an Associate and Manager at United Coal. Dad often told me that those were the best days of his life. I know that he is eternally grateful to his friend and mentor Ralph Herring. I only remember our household taking a turn for the better. In hindsight, I think I knew Dad was part of something.
