If i could give this shop more then 5 stars i would. My daughter and I took a wire wrapped ring class and if was excellent. The environment was warm, friendly, inviting from the moment we walked it. This is my daughter's first time working with wire, when she became frustrated and the instructor (Michelle) was patient and encouraging and worked with my daughter until she was able to grasp the technique. So they are very patient with teens and children. We will definitely be back.
A friend gave me a wonderful beaded necklace from Columbia, but it was too small. The folks at the Twisted Bead tastefully extended the necklace in a way that allows me to adjust it, and did so at a reasonable price. And when a fellow healer "prescribed" two scents, a specific crystal, and a "wand" for me, they had it all here. Very happy.

Love this gem in Edgewater MD! This store has lots of different crystals and jewelry making accoutrement. My 17yo daughter and I took a jewelry making class and had the best time! The class was $30 pp, there were 4 of us taking the class at the same time. We learned how to make earrings and necklaces using a press that will imprint your design on the metal. My sister and I visited this shop and love it!! They have a very impressive selection of rocks and minerals and reasonable prices!
