The staff is caring, professional, and truly invested in each child’s success. The learning environment is positive and supportive, and the individualized approach helped my kids build both skills and confidence. We took our 1st grader to The Tutoring Center for a Diagnostic Assessment and I’m so glad we did! The test showed that he’s actually performing at a 2nd grade level in both reading and math — which was great to hear. But it also pointed out something we already kind of knew: he rushes through things and misses small details, so comprehension is something we need to work on. My son has improved so much with his reading and pronunciation skills since he started his tutoring sessions for the last 2 years here at the Tutoring of Katy. My 2nd grader has been coming here for reading assistance for a year now. His progress was tested somewhere between 4 or 6 months which showed one level improvement. The school coincidentally tested him around the same time and they too confirmed that he had indeed improved one grade level. He looks forward to going every week. I would definitely recommend this place!!
