In agreement with a previous comment, I would give half star if I could... family was in need of reliable and professional representation and after up front payment found Ms Truitt to be neither... sad but true... Do Not recommend this firm at all

I unfortunately do not recommend them due to lack of professionalism. I paid the required money to schedule a consultation with them, and they did not send me the link for our zoom consultation or make an effort to call me. I contacted them and informed them that I had not received the zoom link and they simply stated they would email the attorney and let her know. I reached back out to request a refund given the consultation did not take place, and they expressed that no one was in to process my refund. I reached out again ... read more

I wouldn't even give Shira one star. She's not responsive. She took my case and didn't work on it for months. It took 8 months for her to draft a petition and I have no proof that she filed it. Then I fired her and she proceeded to still work on my case after I explicitly fired her. She became part of the problem when she was supposed to be part of the solution. So much to say, but she's doesn't deserve the time. Proceed with caution.

Called her in late February maybe early March for a small claims case. After talking with her she was very informative and gave me so much hope that my case would turn out well. After sending out all of the documents she requested I didn’t hear back from her. I messaged for a follow up a month of so later and her secretary said they were still working on my case. This was in April. It’s now December and neither have returned my calls or emails regarding my case.

I must confess , Ms. Truitt trusted receiving in person , MY $1,000 dollars & information during Covid towards helping me in a sensitive matter , then I couldn't ever talk with her from "2019" until present yr. "2022" , she's since upgraded too another address!!!
