As an Indian woman I have been racially profiled at stores often. Ironically, at this store which capitalises off Indian culture, a middle aged/old white woman who looked like the manager followed me around the whole time I was in this store, keeping an eye on me as if I was going to steal something, while ignoring other customers browsing. Visited the story today (Sunday 4th Oct) and spotted some earrings in the centre aisle. I purchased a pair and continued browsing the store. As we were leaving, I thanked the staff. However, just as we were crossing the road, one of the employees caught up with me and asked if I had paid for the earrings. She looked in my hands and saw the wrapped earrings and my EFTPOS card in hand, which seemed to clear up the confusion.
