I had an extremely disappointing experience with The Tax Experience. They took my money but never actually filed my taxes. IRS tax transcripts confirm that no tax return was submitted for my company in 2021 or 2022, despite their claims. This has caused unnecessary complications and delays, and now I have to visit the IRS office myself to resolve the issue. Horrifically disappointed. Paid good money to simply have my taxes filed. I had to follow up with Annette to see if my taxes were submitted before the tax deadline and they were not. After pressing her on the point and asking why they were not filed, she completely ghosted me and locked me and my wife out of our tax portal. We have not received a refund and are disputing the entire contract with the credit card company as ZERO services were rendered. Annette and her team are professionals. They had patience with during my first tax prep for a corp. I was guided through the process with respect. Everything came up great and I'm happy with their service. I'll recommend anyone to The Tax Experience LLC.
Disappointed to have to leave a negative review because I was eager to support this business in the beginning. I hired the Tax Experience to file my 2021 taxes. In that year I had sold my home. In August 2022 I reached back out to the Tax Experience after letters from the IRS came back showing I owed nearly $20,000. I asked why the amounts were so high and was told "This is because of the capital gains from the sale of the house."
