I would give zero stars if I could. I have been a member for almost 10 years. As of February of this year, Summit refused to allow me to make payments other than in person, at a branch. This isn't possible for me to do. I have been setting up payments through ESL bill pay to pay Summit directly, however they will not apply these payments to the correct loan accounts. I have tried to reach out to management without response, I have reached out to DFS without a response and most recently filed a complaint with the Attorney Gen... read more

This is by far the worst financial institution I have ever dealt with. The office staff was rude and uncommunicative when simply trying to get a close out figure. I cannot wait to close this account and would not recommend this establishment to my worst enemy.

My daughter and I went to the Delaware branch in Buffalo NY. At the time we believed my daughter's debit card was compromised. We waited for the Rep. to end her personal call, then she asked if we could be helped, I said my daughter's card had been compromised, she said weren't you guys in here before for the same problem. I said yes. She said maybe my daughter doesn't need a debit card then. I was shocked that she would give her opinion in my personal business. Her disposition was very nasty when assisting us with this prob... read more

They opened a new branch on East Main Street and got employees working that don’t know anything. I go to the Monroe branch location usually and have no issues. Today I came to East Main st location and the two women in the front lack customer service skills. When asked for cooperate number they give me the automated number. Their names are Nyla and Beyonce. I think waited for a women sitting at her desk to finish with a customer. When the customer got up and walked away, I continued waiting. The women then proceeded to get u... read more

Wanted to close my account. My car loan was paid off and wanted to close my savings account. I reached out and a representative sent me a form via email. He said it was NOT downloadable. So I had to print out the form, fill it out with my FULL SSN on it, and send it back. Not even 2 days later, I had a **** ** *******credit card open up in my name. I never applied for this. I called the bank and explained I never took this action. They canceled it. I decided to purchase ****** security. 4 days later I get notified from *****... read more

If i could give this company -1000 stars i would. This establishment is a ******* joke!!!!!! My husband bought a new vehicle. The car dealership called them to see what the pay off amount was. They told them $8,196. The dealership cut them a check for $8,200. This place called my husband 3 different times saying he still owes $227.89 on a car he no longer drives. They told him they “couldn’t stop the last payment” there shouldn’t be a last payment it was PAID IN FULL!!!!! They are trying to double dip. My husband finally got... read more
