The Stray Whisker is genuinely one of the most beautiful stores I’ve been inside. I am absolutely thrilled to have found it. I was delighted to discover that the location was only an hour’s drive from where I live, and I would highly recommend popping in for a visit if you’re ever in Blackheath. The Stray Whisker is a gem in Blackheath, up in the Blue Mountains – usually a good 8 degrees cooler than Sydney CBD in the summer heat, which makes it an even nicer place to browse slowly and enjoy. Beyond their great grooming range, they have a beautifully curated selection of pens, paper and accessories – from Kaweco fountain pens to Midori and Traveler’s notebooks. A gem in Blackheath. A heavenly scented store for premium stationary and luxury grooming enthusiast. The owners are knowledgeable on collectors and special stationary. We may be skewed to Japanese stationary (which they had), but they opened us up to a range which were now going down a new rabbit hole. Glad we made a turn to check this place out.
I stumbled upon a beautiful shop today while searching for my first razor. I can honestly say it was the best shopping experience I've ever had. I not only found the perfect razor but also received an excellent lesson on how to use the tools. I will definitely return and highly recommend this shop to others.
