DO NOT USE.Starr Indemnity violated my rights, fails to fully pay claim am legally entitled to receive. It knows court costs are more than claim is worth and paid only enough to save face. It writes and talks big on "integrity" but does not plan on fully paying claims because cost to fight in court is in its favor. Who is going to spend $10K in court on a $5K claim?
DO NOT USE STARR INSURE. Booked & paid for a tour. I was delayed in route because of visa issue but was encouraged to reapply. It takes 72 hours to get visa. In the meantime, I contacted the tour vendor and, in front of witness, tour vendor said money was gone. Why would I continue journey if I was just told vendor did not have money, in front of a witness? I was given reference for tour vendor before paying a nickel. Starr is refusing to pay claim. We were insured in every way possible, we thought we were adequately protected and our insurance carrier, Starr Indemnity and York Risk Management is still fighting our Hurricane Irma claim.
