My experience with Spiggle Law Firm was disappointing. I contacted Spiggle Law Firm regarding a wrongful termination matter and paid approximately $2600. In return, my interaction consisted of two phone calls and one email, and I never received a clear strategy or meaningful progress on the case. The Spiggle Law Firm was not very responsive during my dispute with a former employer over denied unemployment benefits in Virginia. I initially paid $100 for a consultation, where a lawyer confirmed I had reasonable grounds for a First Level Appeal. That was actually helpful. My initial consultation went well and it felt like a good choice. The staff were friendly and responsive. I had my initial meeting with the attorney and was counseled there wasn’t a case to pursue. That’s fine, that’s why I wanted to do a consultation. Just be mindful that the various billing charges add up quickly. I was charged $2000 of my initial $3000 retainer to review docs and a one hour call. Their rates were in the retainer contract. I just didn’t expect the number of hours I would be billed for an initial consult.
