A few days ago, I treated myself to the serene summer spa special which included the blueberry lemonade facial and the feel well massage. The customer service was spectacular. Before booking, I called the front desk multiple times and every time she was very friendly and helpful. The staff went out of their way to accommodate me during my pregnancy. The massage and facial were fabulous and the chocolate covered pretzels were delicious. I wished I didn't live out of town or I would go more.
The 100-minute massages we received were great, and all the staff we interacted with at the spa were wonderful: friendly and professional. Our main observation is that the spa facility itself was much smaller than we anticipated and lacked the extensive amenities we've enjoyed at other properties, such as spacious relaxation lounges, saunas, steam rooms, salt rooms, tropical rain showers, and whirlpools. My coworker and I finally happily scheduled our well-deserved relax spa day after many months of hard work due to all the hurricanes that hit us last year. Needless to say, we were really looking forward to this moment! I had a massage there after my wedding. Worth every penny. I have a lot of medical issues and my muscles tightened for a year prior to this massage. I've been in PM etc. After this massage I had a major migraine. The next day I could move more than I had been able to in a year. The following day my muscles loosened and my spirit lifted. I had over 10 muscle knots in my neck. He worked every one out. I had a SCS trial and my back was locked. The pain relief after this massage lasted roughly 3 weeks.
