Very disappointed in the Gran Bohemian spa in Asheville. An expensive facial with mediocre service and no amenities offered. No robe and no refreshment of any kind in a very tiny salon. I’ve always tipped for the many facials I’ve enjoyed and to have a MANDATORY 22% just tacked on to my bill was offensive. You deserve a spa that appreciates you and your patronage. This is not that one.
Buyer be aware when going to the so-called “spa” At the Bohemian in Asheville. I paid almost $400 for an 80 minute massage in one of the tiniest “spas” I have ever been to. There are no locker facilities, no relaxation area, and worst of all, no bathroom facilities in this area. After paying more than I’ve paid at a five star resort for a service, we were told to utilize the shared bathroom space on the lobby floor. My experience was phenomenal. I absolutely recommend this location. Karen did an excellent job.
I booked an 80-minute massage with Taylor, and it was honestly one of the most relaxing spa experiences I’ve ever had. Taylor was professional, attentive, and created such a calming, restorative experience from start to finish. While the spa itself is more intimate in size, that’s actually part of what made it so special. It felt cozy, warm, inviting, and peaceful, the kind of environment that immediately helps you relax and unwind. Highly recommend Taylor and the entire experience.
Amazing experience! This is a fairly small spa and feels very private. The staff were amazing. I had a facial and my husband had a massage and both of our services were exceptional. The hotel is amazing and the spa compliments it so well.
