Articles (multiple) that rank this place as one of the best spas are factually incorrect about the amenities -- you will not get access to anything other than a tiny steam that barely accommodate 2 people and a lounge that's cramped and noisy should there be any concurrent service guests. Go to bathhouse, shibui or any other player. Scandalized.
We went for a couples massage and the massage was great but that's where everything ended. The website is very deceiving - they show pictures of the pool, sauna, etc but when you get there, it turns out that the pool and sauna are not available to you, they're only available to residents and the hotel guests. At one point, the manager came to speak to me and he was one of the worst managers I've ever seen. All kidding aside, they really need to replace him, I wouldn't put him in charge of a McDonald's. The Four Seasons downtown offers one of the best sanctuaries in the city. It’s a small spa tastefully designed with neutral tones throughout. The staff are friendly and competent and provide one of the best booking experiences I have ever had. Massages are wonderful, everyone is a seasoned therapist so you can’t go wrong:). Worth the splurge! Also opens on thanksgiving and other major holiday.
Amazing spa with a relaxing atmosphere! Really great service and great staff.
