ADDITIONALLY: In response to the owner taking zero responsibility and loosely suggesting I have an issue with small business, let me add; If I get poor service, I will post about it. If I get fabulous service, I will post about it. Anything else in the middle is not worth my time. I absolutely pride myself on writing honest and detailed reviews, having been in retail for many, many years, I know how to treat 'the customer'. I went to this store after a long time and put the items I needed in brown bags with names somehow forgot to add the code. When I went to the counter a young man sarcastically asked me if I have been here before and I said ‘Yes, a while ago’ then in a condescending tone he said ‘Next time you come don’t forget to add the codes’. I apologised for the inconvenience I caused for buying 3 items which he obviously could not search by name on his system. I came out of the store and really felt belittled for such a petty act. I shop at the Carindale Bulk Food store regularly—usually every second week, and sometimes weekly, spending at least $200 every time. Most staff members are friendly and welcoming, which is why today's experience stood out so negatively. While shopping, I accidentally spilled a small amount of hemp seeds on the floor.
