Went in specifically for blackstrap molasses and found it without friction. Clean layout, clearly labeled shelves, and staff who actually know where things are, so you’re not wandering or upsold. If you’re sourcing something specific rather than browsing, this place respects your time and gets you in and out efficiently.

This store is brilliant if your interested in saving on waste and you only want a certain amount of the dried goods needed. If you join their rewards point system you very quickly get savings; they are also all over Australia.

Shout out to Hannah at the Balaclava store. Very helpful today, might have saved me from choking on some food. Very helpful, attentive and caring!! Great stuff Hannah, keep doing good work.

I normally visit the other branches though. I purchased the dried soybeans from this shop. Unfortunately I could see a lot of damaged beans in the big tub. I told one of the staff about the beans and said I cannot use damaged beans for my homemade miso. However, the staff just said “that’s interesting”, she did not even have a look the big tub. I guess they are still selling that beans. I tried to scoop them carefully but there were still so many of damaged soybeans in my bag, so I had to throw them away. ———————— I submitte... read more
