Purchased a 3-piece sofa set from 'The Sofa Company' on 9/2/12. We purchased the Gia model and we required some custom pieces due to the dimensions of our room. We spent a lot of time at the Santa Monica store looking and trying various sofas. The staff was very helpful and patient and provided good design advice. Our main design consultant was Zaire Garcia and she was very helpful in providing information and advice with the many choices available, especially the color selection. Buyer beware. This company is a middleman and will do absolutely nothing to help you if you have any problems with defective merchandise stating they will only do what the manufacturer says. In other words, maybe they will contact the manufacturer, and maybe they won't. They have your money so they have zero incentive to resolve any issue you may have. I purchased a set of 4 seats with 3 wedges in February of this year. Spent just over $7K so I'm definitely not one of their bigger customers and they have done nothing to help... read more

I saw the review that said this company doesn't help you with problems and that was not my experience. First, I LOVE my sofa. It feels so well constructed and high quality. But I did have a problem. The cushions they sent were to soft. The cushions I had on the sofa were thicker then normal, deeper, so the softer foam was even squishier, you would roll around on them and the worst part was that they were so light they slid out every single day, so frustrating. We bought a sofa here 3 years ago and not only did we love it when we bought it, but we still do. We chose the look, comfort, size, fabric and layout, and it looks great to this day. Great experience and worth it.

Bought 3 identical chairs. Great until we need service. Forget about it. Oh and now every single phone number is disconnected. Go somewhere with a real warranty .
