This review is by no means a reflection on doctor gomora's skills or the result of surgery that I am forever greatful for but feedback on the aftercare procedure that I hope the clinic takes more seriously.. I had my surgery on Dec 2 2024 at 1PM and couldn’t be more pleased with the whole experience! This is definitely the best Doctor and team out there in my view! Patient-centred, human-centred and the 5 year after care program is phenomenal. I have direct access to a RN and RD and regular appointments in calendar. Well, I had my surgery this morning and I’m home now. I was a nervous wreck this morning, crying and anxious. Dr. Gmora was so comforting to me and came to see me numerous times to check on me before the surgery. I had the surgery, and I had nothing to worry about. I can’t say enough fantastic things about my experience today. My nurse, Claire was so gentle, friendly and caring. My expectations are truly blown through the roof. Dr. Gmora performed my weight loss surgery ten years ago - and I got to 1/2 my size (160 down from 320) and have maintained it ever since. I have had no problems, no surgical complications and he was an amazingly kind, gentle, informative and caring surgeon - it sounds like he still is.
