We unfortunately had to visit Aand E at Telford last Thursday afternoon. Yes the place was busy. We fairly quickly was assessed and referred to other treatment. We were there around 4 hours in total and the staff and the treatment was Absolutely fantastic. We had to go back on Saturday morning because of the wound still bleeding slightly and blurred vision. We had excellent service again and had a c.t scan and were there around 3 hours and referred to Ophthalmology outpatients for treatment. We received a phone call Sunday m... read more

My Mother recently had a fall downstairs and badly cut herself . I would be a real fool if I didn’t express just how grateful I and my family feel after experiencing the most fabulous level of professionalism, empathy and grace… I experienced at least twenty NHS STAFF in this process from trauma to healing … at every level these members of staff were incredible . Mothers should not be put under pressure to have a natural birth when a Caesarean section would be safer. As James Titcombe and Nadine Montgomery pointed out, in the week the Ockenden report was published, NHS adverts were still producing messages that promote the role of midwives as ‘guardians of normal birth’. As Lady Hale said in her judgement on Montgomery's case: some obstetricians feel "that a vaginal delivery is in some way morally preferable to a caesarean section: so much so that it justifies depriving the pregnant ... read more
