Ida of the Women's Resouce Center and I went to the Quilt Fair in San Mateo yesterday. We stopped by the "The Sewing Place's" booth and chatted with the owner, Angie. We told her about our little group and Angie asked we needed donations! She generously offered us machines, fabric, notions and hopefully an iron or two. I've done business with Angie for years and I am not surprised at her generosity. Btw I won a door prize and Ida found the perfect backing for her latest project. Win win win.
