I went shopping for new support walking shoes by order of my podiatrist. Went to a few stores looking for the brand my doctor recommended, Hokas. In short the big box stores were of little help & no service even though they had the products. Peter met me as I walked into The Running Elements. He listened to my needs & immediately picked out the right shoes. Didn’t need to try any other ones. Was in & out within 15 mins. Peter was very pleasant & professional. Will be back! It pays to buy from the local merchants!!
Visited Running Elements to buy a zero drop shoe. After decades in high heels, I’m paying the price for that since my early 40s… I have owned more “fashion” sneakers than I can count and most of them are just high heels in disguise…. AND…. They are as heavy as a rock ! Over 15 lbs of my luggage weight is typically just in my shoes (!) and that has to stop. I had a wonderful experience at The Running Elements. I was going to go to the mall to a chain store but wanted to find the best in running shoes (even though I'm more a jogger/walker). I'm so happy I did. This store has all the top brands and ones I'd never heard of. Jen, the owner, was so helpful. I wanted to try them all and she helped me narrow it down to a half dozen by understanding my foot issues. I thought I'd end up with my old standby Brooks but decided the Hooka was a better fit.
