Home from home so relaxing. Good beds pillows and towels. Room very nice all facilities were good. Staff and locals very friendly. Breakfast gorgeous. Highly recommended.
Visited for steak night, it was a quiet and cold Friday evening, the service was friendly, the food was delicious. Would definitely go back for more.
We didn't stay here or eat, just stopped for a beer. I can imagine this place on a sunny day being packed in a lovely location, and I can't say anything about the food or accommodation. What I did think was that drinks weren't a reasonable price they were expensive compared to other establishments in the area, maybe because of location.
Great venue but unfortunately the firework display this year was poor at best! No better than supermarket fireworks you have in your garden! Yes you let off a few together at the end of the 8 minute display but a very basic and boring 7 mins 50seconds before that! This should have been a free to enter event with complementary fireworks and you make the money off the stalls etc.. shouldn’t be allowed to charge for that! One bonus I suppose is there was a fantastic display the other side of the river! Maybe get the trees toppe... read more
