Worked here for about 6 months. I loved it, the residents and what I did. But i to leave because the owners truly do no care about the building at all!!! It is not very safe for a fall risk resident either. As well as many complaints from either cold/burnt food from residents and family. I worked the busy day shift, only one direct care worker on, and one med tech of 24 residents (2 floors). Can’t be on both floors at the same time. My wife is a hospice CNA. Works at various facilities due to the traveling nature of her job. She was recently barred, along with other facility w/ the same owner, from returning to the facility because she notified the ombudsman of staffing concerns. Mind you, the owner is also the Armstrong county coroner. Also mind you, my wife gives the level of care that has earned her an all expense paid education to become a nurse from a previous patient. This was not an uneducated concern from an unexperienced aid.
