My father lived at the Richmond for about 3 yrs. Among other charges, he paid monthly for the service of having his room cleaned. When he moved out into long term care, I was shocked to see the filth in his room that had not been cleaned in god knows how long. The smell and the filth in the bathroom was atrocious. Nothing had been wiped or swept or washed in god knows how long! There were bugs in the window sil and his table where he sometimes ate his meals looked like it had never been cleaned.
