A Deeply Disappointing Experience I am deeply disappointed and concerned by the level of care (or lack thereof) provided at The Retreat in Berryville. Despite being marketed as a memory care facility designed to provide safety, support, and dignity to residents, what I witnessed was the complete opposite. Residents are frequently left unsupervised, which is incredibly dangerous for individuals dealing with memory loss or dementia. The Retreat at Berryville was a Godsend. Transitioning your loved one to assisted living can very challenging in many ways. Kendra and the staff did everything to make the transition for my Mom the best that it could be. The communication with family members is outstanding. They are very responsive, kind, patient and caring. We could not have asked for a better assisted living community for my Mom.
