My mom is in the memory care facility at Park Ridge. Tonight, I had a really bad night and I just wanted to see my mom. I have cameras in her room and she wasn't sleeping yet. I drove there and called the after hours number. There are no visitation restrictions in the handbook they give you. They wouldn't let me in to see my mom. I have limited time with her. Our family made the decision to write this review to help other families navigate the heart wrenching disease of dementia and where to place a loved one. We removed our family member from the Residence at Park Ridge to Care One Memory Care due to the neglect at Park Ridge. It's been night and day since moving our family member to Care One memory care. I placed my Mom in January of 2025. She is well cared for. There is a variety of activities and entertainment. Place is very clean and has a warm environment. The staff is very friendly.

I cannot say enough Great things about the Residence at Park Ridge!! The place is beautiful, the activities are wonderful and the staff is amazing. In particular, I have to give a huge thank you to the help that Lisa Nixdorf gave me with coordinating my mother's transition to the facility. Lisa is extremely kind, caring, knowledgeable, and supportive!! She is always there to help.
