Never leave your parents in this facility. Residents are treated more like objects than human beings. The staff and management were rude and rough in their behavior, with very little empathy or respect shown toward vulnerable individuals. This was a very upsetting experience, and I would not recommend this facility to anyone looking for compassionate care for their loved ones.
My mother passed away 1 month ago. She spent her last 3 years of life in the complex care unit at The Residences at Morgan Heights; she suffered from dementia. I can only say good things about this place. All staff, from the receptionist to the staff directly dealing with my mother were amazingly compassionate, caring and helpful. My dad has been in full care for two years. I or another family member visit every day. Staff and nurses are unfailingly kind in their interactions with him and other residents. They work so hard to accomplish all the care. Their practices make so much sense; for example, they accumulate laundry and wash his clothes on the day he has his bath.
