A welcoming environment. Staff provided great customer service. If I had to go back to another skilled nursing facility I would go back here
This is the best facility i have ever been to. And i have been to very many as a nursing home consultant. Not only is it clean and odor free but the staff is the nicest and friendliest. The nurses aides and the medication aides were wonderful. There is not a negative thing i could say. The rehabilitation dept both PT and OT are knowledgeable and professional and friendly and helpful. This was my second and third admission and it was bitter sweet when i had to leave. The Reserve at Richardson is a wonderful place with an incredible team. Roy (Administrator) runs a great community with care and professionalism, and Shirley (Director of Nursing) is attentive, kind, and always on top of things. Sheena at the front desk is warm and welcoming — she really sets the tone the moment you walk in. The whole staff is friendly and works hard to create a positive, comfortable environment. In April 2025 I ended up in ER for pressure wounds. From there, LTAC and then The Reserve. I had no idea I'd be bedbound for 4 months. 100 days at the Reserve. Overall the staff was friendly. Roy was always available for questions or complaints. The CNA staff work hard and the nurses care about their jobs. It is very frustrating to be in the facility or to have a loved one admitted in one, but I dont think under the circumstances and design you will find a friendlier environment to live or recover. I went to visit a friend at this facility and while visiting I overhead a resident say the facility had bedbugs and the leadership staff (Roy & Shirley) were trying to cover the situation up. Also during the conversation that I overhead the resident mentioned how horrible these same two leaders are unprofessional managers and don’t care about the residents, their staff, nor the facility.
