My friend and I went into this store to buy a birthday card for a friend. Had a small browse and came across these dog beds advertised for $19. Took it to the counter, and they were trying to charge us $40 for this dog beds when the crate was clearly ticketed as $19. Asked for the manager, just for him to come out and say that “I don’t ticket anything until 3pm, and people move things when browsing” mind you there were 4-6 dog beds in this crate that were clearly put there by staff. Useless excuses from manager. 11/02/25, I wanted to buy a dog bed that was displayed as $19. Thought it was a great deal. There were 4 of the same bed in the basket. Turns out it was $39 at the counter. Called the manger over and blamed it on a customer moving it. He said they only had the 4 in stock. That is not ok. It is their job to keep on top of where products are and ticketing. Legally, the bed should then be sold to me for $19. Otherwise it is false advertising. Christmas hours are incorrect on Google. Made a special trip to buy a birthday card for my niece arriving at 7pm with advertised closing at 9pm. The store was just closing, and despite my plea for help, the employee and manager showed me the door. Merry Christmas?? Kmart at the far end of the shopping centre came to the rescue.
