I came to this place as a visitor from out of state. I usually go to their sister spa, when I am in town. However, this place looked intriguing, so I decided to try it out. The masseuse was so nice and she got all my problem areas. The amenities here were very relaxing. And the rooftop views for the pool and hot tub for amazing. Also, bonus! They have their own bar with hot drinks, mocktails, actual cocktails. I spent like three or 4 hours here and it was worth it.
Sadly, so disappointed! A couple of weeks ago I had reached out when making our appointments. There was very careful planning involved, as I had my parents visiting from out of town and my dad was recovering. I intentionally chose this spa so that while my mom, sister and I had our treatments, my dad could rest by the pool in the sun or in the hot tub. My husband and I were staying at Renaissance for one night before heading to Lake Tahoe. I really needed a massage and was able to make an appointment the same day we arrived! I was so happy to be able to get in within a few hours of checking in. I had a 90 minute deep tissue massage with Lloyd and he was amazing! Such a great spa . My first Sports Massage ever (mid 50s here) was today with Gina . Where has she been hiding? Apparently at Renaissance Spa! Wow. Right off the bat, Gina approached me smiling and with open hands - I instantly felt calm in her presence. She released so much pain that I’ve been having in my low back into my leg that I’m seriously reconsidering some scheduled back nerve blocks. Yes, she is that good. Gina also made my neck relax.
