When I was in a panic (best to plan ahead!), April went above and beyond to help us. I am forever grateful to her and everyone else that makes the Redwoods wonderful.
I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to share our family’s experience with Redwoods. Earlier this year, my 88-year-old father suffered a serious fall that left him wheelchair-bound and in need of more care than my 86-year-old mother and our family could manage at home. Mom has recently chosen to move into the Redwoods. She chose them because they offer the flexibility of opting in or out of 1, 2 or 3 meals a day. Their units have full size kitchens, with full size fridges and stoves. They offer studio, 1 bedroom or 2 bedroom units so as small or as large as she needs and wants to afford. At 93 years, her mobility is getting slower so independant living at Redwoods will allow her to live independently (still shopping and cooking for herself) with the security of emergency medical help if ne... read more
Just moved Mom from a respite suite to a permanent suite. So happy with all the staff and services. Everyone is so happy (staff and residents) making it just wonderful to walk in there. They have taken the time to get to know Mom and encourage her to join the activities. We are so relieved that Mom is in such a wonderful place. We know she will be well taken care of.
We chose the Redwoods respite care for my father after his hip surgery, it was going to be as a transition to help him get back to his home of 67 years. After a few short weeks of 3 excellent meals per day, and the discovery of an exercise room, my father has not only started to put on weight, but he's in the process of becoming a permanent resident. The staff have been so caring and helpful that we want to express our sincere gratitude, and big shout out to April whose guidance has helped us navigate these difficult waters.
