The customer service is severely lacking and they are not friendly.
Sometimes a bad experience just sticks with you and you have to let it out. Recology hasn’t gotten back to me about a special pickup, so I brought the items to the store. The lady there was rude and condescending - she seemed disgusted that I brought used motor oil into her “posh recycling boutique” (it was packaged to Recology instructions). Young chubby girl that works there was very rude to my husband last week when he was trying to recycle CFL bulbs. She asked for our address and had trouble finding it in the system. We've lived in our Burien residence for over 10 years, so it's not our fault if she can't find it - whether system error or an ID10T issue on her end.
