This review is for RangeWorks regarding my recent Concealed Carry License Renewal class. The class instructor was Ken Lantz and he was easy to understand and he explained the material very well. The class started exactly on time and finished almost exactly at the 3 hr. mark which was greatly appreciated. Ever since this place did whatever to whoever to be a designated shooting range for the Department of Immigration Customs Enforcement they have acted most unprofessional to regular shooters. I have brought many beginners to show them about the reality of shooting as my guest, today all of a sudden on a range that does not close until 8pm I am told we can only shoot for a half a hour. Just when you thought the off duty Donut Munchers could not get lazier.
Banning all oil on the range seems a bit extreme. I get that people have made messes – but "no oil, ever" treats every customer like the worst one, and it sells your own staff short too. If they can enforce firearm safety on a hot range, they can enforce "no aerosols / no solvents, drops-only OK."
