Other times by appointment* I sell sensible, yet adventurous bicycles from Surly, Rivendell Bicycle Works, All City Cycles and Tanglefoot Cycles-one customer at a time.. I feature the finest US made bags from Swift Industries, Oveja Negra Bikepacking, Fifth Season and Carradice (alright, not US but close enough!). Appointments can be made easily on my website. Took an hour and a half drive down to Naples to visit the Psychic Derailleur bike shop and consult with shop owner, Chris Wiggins, about a new bike for my wife. Chris spent 3 hours going over various aspects that we should consider when purchasing a new bike in todays bike market. He is a wealth of knowledge and we will continue to work with him. This is the best bicycle buying experience I have had. I found Chris on his youtube channel Psychic Derailleur and lucky for me his shop was less than 2 hours from where I live. I was looking for a do-it-all bike and thought I knew what I wanted but Chris steered me in a better direction and even in this crazy time of supply chain lack of availability, he was able to find exactly what I needed in a few days. Just bought an All City Gorilla Monsson gravel bike and I am stoked. Chris was great to work with. He spent over 2 hours over two visits going over all the geometries, accessories, tire types, basically answered every question I had about bikes. He was really knowledgeable with a lot of on bike experience. Really made me comfortable in knowing I was making the right choice of bike. Would highly recommend a visit to the store if you want a truly bespoke bike buying experience.
Really cool shop with quality gear from strong brands. Chris has a wealth of knowledge, and I've appreciated conversing with him before and after I bought a new Surly Bridge Club in late 2020. He also runs a YouTube channel that's worth checking out. Highly recommended stopping in to the Psychic Derailleur.
