Doug is so great to work with! He’s knowledgeable, professional, and kind! He converted one of my bikes and it’s so well done. His instruction was thorough and understandable. I would recommend Doug anytime!
Doug at the Powered Pedaler is our e-bike savior!! We have a 27 year old daughter with special needs that I used to ride our tandem bike with. But when she would stop pedaling as she became fatigued, it made it VERY difficult to go up hills and actually enjoy the ride. Doug converted the tandem to an e-bike. Now it is a complete JOY to ride because no hill is a problem with the e-bike assist. Doug was great to work with and very knowledgable about his craft.
I always wondered what riding an ebike was like...until my husband called and asked me to meet him at 1205 Hoover St in Janesville and introduced me to Doug. In the 8 years since he retired, Doug has set up a unique shop in his back yard where he converts old bikes into ebikes using all brand new, state-of-the-art parts.
